Exuma chain consist of over 360 Island and Cays. It’s capital is Georgetown. It was originally inhabitated by Lucayan Indians.During the 1783 the American Loyalist along with their slaves settled Exuma.Lord John Rolle was one of the major plantation owners, thus you have a settlement named Rolleville in his honour.Exuma is a very popular island with Bahamian and foreigners alike. At any given time the harbor is full of yatchs and boats of many types, water sporting events such as sailing, diving and snorkeling, are common sights. It is also the home of Exuma National Land & Sea Park.
